Homecare Service
Stocks Hall Homecare exists to provide you with a tailor-made package of care within your own home for your loved ones. Whether it is for just one hour per week to assist with basic care and domestic duties, or if necessary we can accommodate four calls a day for more personal care needs.
We can support you with all aspects of daily living such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication management, cleaning, rehabilitation following an injury or attending appointments. Social activities such as shopping and going out for afternoon tea are support packages we can also provide.
Care proportionate to your individual requirements is of paramount importance – if you don’t need a full hour; your care package will be tailored to whatever you need and be charged accordingly.
Perhaps you like an early-start most weekday mornings but at the weekend value a lie-in? No problem, we can visit from 7:30am or later Monday to Friday, and then as late as you like at the weekends. It’s your choice. We will try to accommodate whatever works for you.
Services We Provide:
Companionship
We find needing a companion and social support to be the first step when looking after a loved one. Finding the confidence to go out alone can be a big step and we can support you with this simple, yet important aspect of leading an independent life. We can help with a weekly outing to their favourite café or accompany Mum on her weekly shop, no outing is too much for our team.
Home Help
This service will include duties such as cooking, cleaning and shopping for your loved one. Any daily tasks that need completing in the home, we can help, there is no Knick Knack too small that we can’t dust! Having kept their home, clean, safe and warm for so many years, think of it as our turn to do the same, and give them a break to enjoy the little things. Time for them to put their feet up, enjoy a brew, whilst we do the hard work.
Domiciliary Care
If daily life is starting to become a little much for Mum / Dad or your relative and you are worried for their well-being, let us take that weight from your shoulders and allow us to provide as much or as little care you need. We can provide personal care such as help with bathing, dressing and toileting, making sure your loved ones are clean and comfortable. If you are worried that important medications are being forgotten, we can give you peace of mind that all medications are counted and have been taken. Not forgetting meal preparation too, we can make calls three times a day to provide breakfast, lunch and tea.
Dementia Care
Receiving a Dementia diagnosis can be an overwhelming time for all the family, but we can help relieve the pressure and give you peace of mind and provide care in the home they still love and know. Familiarity is key, so allowing us to help care in the comfort of their own home, can help in many ways. From keeping their independence to also giving you and your family of carers a break as we know how hard this can be. We can provide longer calls for the safety of your loved one, in addition to respite care in one of our homes.
Palliative Care
We find the place of where you loved one wants to spend their final moments to be one of the most significant choices they or your family can make, and in an ideal situation, that is in the comfort of their own home. We can provide round the clock care to allow the final moments of your parent or family member to be stress free, comfortable and surrounded by those they love most.
