The Home is situated in a quiet residential area, within walking distance of the small village of Burscough, and has easy access to all public transport.

Stocks Hall Burscough was purpose-built to provide residential and nursing care for 51 individuals, with all the amenities of a first-class establishment whilst still very much encompassing the feeling of a home-from-home.

Individual rooms and lounges are tastefully decorated, being spacious and comfortable to meet all the requirements of the people living here.

The Burscough Home has seven EMI (Elderly Mentally Infirm) beds and four beds for younger, disabled clients.  We are able to offer care for people in the early onset of Huntington Disease, and in addition to offering day care for people with Dementia and/or Nursing needs, provides residential and respite care.

Here at Burscough, social activities are offered to meet the Individual needs of the people living here.  We have a stand-alone cabin, where activities and social events can be held in a pleasant, well equipped environment – our ‘WISH’ Activities Staff & Volunteers work together to create a varied programme of activities, crafts and events as well as organising trips out, to meet most spiritual, social and physical needs.  The Home has strong links with the local community (churches and schools visit on a regular basis) and we always encourage people living at the Home to retain relationships with and integrate into the local community.  We have use of a minibus for transport requirements and the dedicated team of staff greatly encourage active participation by everybody.  This often results in longstanding friendships forming between staff and clients alike, bringing a real sense of ‘extended family’ to the Home.
