Stocks Hall Living in Mawdesley is the sixth Home to be built by the well established, reputable and innovative company Stocks Hall Care Homes Ltd. Located in the semi-rural and quaint village of Mawdesley, it is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is very close to amenities and local community attractions such as Cedar Farm and Rock & River.
It is just a ten minute drive from the M6 and just five minutes to the closest NHS Hospital (Wrightington).
The Home which is registered for 42 clients, is split into four suites. Each suite provides specialist nursing care, residential and young disabled people facilities, with each unit running independently. Stocks Hall Mawdesley have a dedicated team of professionals supporting the people residing here. We aim to provide short stay, long stay, day care and holiday/respite care for individuals 18+ (Please see suite specifications).
Those working here have been recruited for their values, attitudes and empathetic skills in addition to their commitment. Staffing levels allow time for individual attention, proportioned according to individual need. The suites are purpose-built with those living here in mind, all being individually operational whilst having full access to the Home’s gardens and other facilities.
Being purpose-built, the whole Home has generous proportions throughout with all bedrooms having an en suite shower room (17 bedrooms also possess overhead tracking hoists). All bedrooms are large and light with beautiful furnishings and access panels to broadband, Sky and telephone. Each suite has its own relaxing lounge and dining areas plus domestic style kitchens (for the use of clients and staff).
Jacuzzi rooms and spa bath facilities are available with the décor throughout being elegant and contemporary. The Home also boasts a state-of-the-art ‘clean air’ system throughout, which continually circulates and clears the air, controlling infection and room temperature.
With beautiful garden areas to the front and back, all wheelchair accessible and providing tranquil areas with raised flower beds giving attention to a range of aromas and colours.
Stocks Hall operates a non-smoking policy inside the Home, and provides an external shelter for those who do smoke.
Visitors are welcome at any time, we offer light refreshments and invite visitors to stay for meals if desired. Overnight stays can be accommodated on request.
