Last week, our ladies, gents and staff were hard at work making amazing scarecrows for our in-house competition. Three scarecrows were made, one being an homage to queen carer of the home, Irene, second being Gru and a minion from the film Despicable Me, and finally a scary themed scarecrow!

Judging was tough as they were all excellent but the decision was made via the loudest applause and Irene the scarecrow made by Carer Steph and resident Maureen.

Well done to all those that made the brilliant scarecrows, it was a lovely event that brought everyone together. Our staff even had fun with ‘Irene’s’ wig (see end photo of Matt)!
