Stocks Hall Skelmersdale is an architecturally designed purpose-built residential Nursing Home.  It is within close proximity of the M58 motorway network, yet remains in a semi-rural setting with easy access to Ormskirk, Southport and Merseyside.

Our Nursing Home has 60 beds and caters for the general and medical needs of the elderly and those living with a form of Dementia.  We also provide specialised end of life care for the dying.  Superior nursing care is provided at all levels 24 hours a day, with ongoing staff training to maintain a service of excellence.

The Home also caters for daycare respite, whether for one day/night’s rest or longer.

A wide variety of activities are offered within the Home as well as organised excursions outside with the use of our minibus.

The 60 single rooms, some of which are en-suite, are all above average size and are light and airy – there are 24 beds on ‘Lowestocks Unit’ which cater for general nursing care and 36 beds on ‘Woodland Unit’ which caters for those living with a form of Dementia, and which may be challenging.  All rooms have nurse-call and TV points.  There are six lounges, four of which overlook beautifully maintained and landscaped gardens.  There is a patio and a roof terrace too.  Wifi is available within the Home upon request.

The Home also benefits from multi-sensorary equipment for use by the people living here.

There are no age restrictions.
