September 2018 saw a small group of people who live at our St Helens Care Home, boarding the minibus and setting off for a late Summer Holiday to North Wales. The group stayed in Porthmadog and visited local places of interest, culture and history.
David, David, Paul and Peter, accompanied by members of Staff; Lucy (Activities), Sharon, Christine (Carers) and Steve (Minibus Driver) together enjoyed a blissful, relaxing week away in this idyllic retreat.
Day excursions included visiting a local Castle and discovering the scenic views of the local harbour whilst enjoying fish and chips for lunch.
Lucy said “What a fantastic time we all had together, David, David, Paul and Peter thoroughly enjoyed their holiday to the max, as did the staff accompanying them. As with any family holiday, we indulged ourselves with several pub lunches together, takeaways and seaside fish & chips too. We also shopped till we dropped and laughed till we cried. What a great holiday we’ve had.”
