Rose of Parbold – Canal Boat trips Set Sail

Stocks Hall, St Helen’s Home began their annual visits recently as those living at the St Helens Home began their Canal Boat Journey Experience.

The groups set sail on the scenic Leeds & Liverpool Canal from Parbold and Lucy (Activities) reports everyone was very excited and eagerly awaited this popular adventure.

First to enjoy their Canal Boat Experience was ladies and gentleman living on Jade Unit followed by Amethyst, Opal and Coral Unit’s the following days.

Lucy continues “Everyone looks forward to getting out and about on the boat, with fresh air and fine weather – the Canal Experience offers a wonderful time to relax, sit back and take in thebeautiful, tranquil English Countryside.”

“This year the experience did not dissapoint, everyone had a great time – the trip offers a very friendly Canal  boating experience for people of all ages, disabilities and special needs. The Rose – because it is open plan, with ramp and wheelchair access it is ideal for our groups at Stocks Hall, St Helens.”

Thanks go to the Rose of Parbold Association for giving the groups who sailed such a wonderful time.
