Olive Morris, who lives at Stocks Hall Burscough Home, celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday 19th August 2017.
After getting up, she opened her birthday cards including her special card from the Queen, and was also greeted by staff and friends, who sang Happy Birthday. She then went on to open all her gifts, whilst being inundated by hugs and birthday kisses.
Olive’s special centenary birthday continued with a celebratory lunch at the Burscough Home, followed by a visit by JLH Productions who danced and sang to Olive and the other guests living at the Home too. Olive was able to get up and dance as well – quite an amazing achievement when you are 100 years young!
Olive said “I have really enjoyed myself and I loved the music.”
Olive’s family, living in Canada are due to join her later in the month for further celebrations of this happy occasion. Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group extends their warmest congratulations to Olive, and would like to also wish her a very Happy Centenary Birthday!
