Roders and Rebel graced Stocks Hall Nursing and Care Group Head Office recently to let the world know they mean business!
The Dynamic Duo born 16.1.18 and now 16 weeks old are really beginning to display their ‘real’ personalities.
As Rebel, (quickly living up to her name) jumped on Sue Lace’s, Director, of Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group desk, the pattern of her working day was truly interrupted.
Sue suffered tragic loss when her lifelong partner Adrian, also a Director of The Stocks Hall Group was killed in tragic accident in 2016. She also had her beautiful Springer Spaniel dog named Daisy, stolen from her garden at home earlier on this year.
Sue says “I miss Adrian so much and I love animals. I was devastated when I lost Adrian and then Daisy. Adrian’s first name was Rodney which he found amusing and he was nicknamed ‘Roders the Rebel’ so I have named the cats ‘Roders and Rebel’ in memory of Adrian. Animals do help us a little bit, work through grief patterns, and Roders and Rebel make me smile and think of Adrian ……. I hope they will continue to remind me of Adrian’s fun loving, mischievous ways.”
Before everybody goes ah and coo …. take a good look at this dynamic duo, don’t be taken in by their adorable looks and don’t let them in without checking their identity!
You can tell they are plotting big things by the look in their eyes, especially Rebel’s!
Welcome Roders & Rebel into the Stocks Hall Family. We trust we will live up to your high standards of Care and that you will visit us again in the near future.
We also hope to hear about your further antics in the future, as you continue your visits around Stocks Hall Care Homes.
