After their recent organ breaking down, Andrew Smith House, Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group are delighted to say they once again, have a beautiful electric organ for their musical events .
The Home received a phone call asking would they like a donation of an electric organ.
“David Horsefield was the very kind gentleman who delivered it to us” Julie, Activities says. “When Brian (our Home’s very special volunteer who mostly plays it), saw the organ he was as over the moon. So much so, he nearly cried. In fact we were all overwhelmed about this.”
The organ music playing brings so much pleasure to many and the Home are indebted to Alpha Community Care who kindly donated it.
Jayms Bell, Manager at the Home says “Music is a very much enjoyed pleasure at Andrew Smith, Stocks Hall Home. We would like to say a public thank you to Alpha Community Care for their prompt generosity and delivery of such a wonderful musical instrument. Life is for Living and I am sure there will be many more happy years spent together around this wonderful organ, thank you so much from all at Stocks Hall.”
Captured here is the moment David delivered the organ and Brian set eyes on this special gift.
