The warmth of the fabulous Christmas community at Stocks Hall St Helens Home made this year’s Christmas Market event, one to remember.
Children, families, friends and staff enjoyed time together with the people living at Stocks Hall Care Home, sampling delicious festive food and drinks and simply having a jolly good time!
An array of stalls such as artisan and pamper goodies provided an opportunity to start Christmas shopping (for those that haven’t yet started!) or even add to it (for those that are slightly more organised!) Traditional stands such as tombola and raffle, saw lucky winners delighted with some of the generous prizes kindly donated by local retailers in the St Helens area.
Lucy Peters, Activities Staff says “The exquisite aromas of mulled wine and my mum’s homemade spicy vegetable soup filled the Home…it was lovely to hear everyone’s compliments.”
An inflatable Santa’s grotto gave the Christmas Market a special touch of Christmas magic….both adults and children enjoyed meeting Santa and his merry Elf!
Laura Coghlan-Adam, Activities Staff, says “Yet another fabulous Christmas event, it’s got everyone in the Christmas mood and started our festivities well. Thank you for the amazing support from families, friends, staff and the local community.”
The money raised from this event, will go towards the continuation of inspirational activity for the people living at Stocks Hall St Helen’s.
