Stocks Hall’s Homecare and Agency Team have recently donated 50 children’s Christmas parcels for a festive event at a Leigh Care Home.
Heathside Residential Home (below), based in Leigh and owned by Wigan Council, recently held a Christmas Event for the local community to enjoy.
The Home, which cares for up to 32 people living with Dementia, regularly hosts activities and events that the whole family are welcome to join. People living at the Home, staff and family members including the local children of Leigh were recently invited to an evening of merry fun organised by the Home on Monday 11th December. On the night, guests were able to visit Santa in his grotto, meet a reindeer and enjoy mince pies and Christmas drinks.
To make this event extra special, Heathside Care Home appealed to local businesses to ask for donations, so they could give each child who came to visit, a special gift from Santa.
The caring Team at Stocks Hall Homecare and Agency saw the appeal and kindly donated 50 wonderful parcels filled with festive fun that the children could enjoy!

Elaine Edwards, Homecare and Agency Manager says “We are delighted to support Heathside’s Christmas Event and bring much joy to the local children living in Leigh. We wish all the staff and people living at Heathside Residential Home a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
