An emotional farewell was recently made to both Mark Bennison (Care Supervisor) and Rebecca McMaster (Senior Carer) at our Ormskirk Care Home, when they both said goodbye to friends and colleagues at the Home.
Becky was helping to plan Mark’s leaving party, but had no idea it would actually be a joint surprise!
Mark leaves after seven years working at the Home, in order to care for his own dependent family members in Redcar. He was absolutely gobsmacked by the gathering to mark his departure, and said “thank you all so, so, much for everything – I would not be the person I am now without you lovely people. I will miss you all very much.”
Rebecca also goes on to pastures new within the Public Health Sector, and said “thank you so very much, I have really enjoyed my time here working with you all and will miss everybody immensely. I promise to come back to visit you all though, and the fabulous people living here too.”
The afternoon was celebrated sharing food, fizz, gifts and music together. Geraldine Ball, the Home’s Manager, tearfully spoke about both of them, stressing their valued past contributions and worth to Stocks Hall Residential Home in Ormskirk.
Rebecca and Mark – you really will be sorely missed, and everyone at The Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group wish you all the very best for your futures.
