It is a proven that pets are such a valuable part of life and contribute so much pleasure and emotional wellbeing to so many people.
Captured here are some of the family moments at Stocks Hall Andrew Smith House, enjoying Buddy, (brown and white dog) and Sky’s (black dog) company.
Julie, part of the Activity Team at the Home says “It is National Pet Month, 1st April – 7th May, this recognised month is a celebration of the benefits that pets bring to people’s lives and vice versa. At Andrew Smith House we support Pet Therapy. I brought Buddy, my own dog and my friend brought her dog Sky into the Home recently. The people living at the Home loved the dogs, they really enjoyed stroking them and being with them. Doreen, living at the Home and is pictured here with her daughter, enjoyed time with Buddy. The visit was a great success.”
