It was eyes down with a difference recently, as once again Stocks Hall Burscough Home, hosted their local, spectacular, village bingo evening. The event, held at the Stanley Institute happens several times a year and December’s event was Burscough’s Christmas Bingo Celebration. Staff work tirelessly long before the event, seeking, wrapping and collecting prizes for the lucky winners on the night. Prizes ranged from food hampers, shopping vouchers, chocolates, cosmetic, household and personal items to name but a few.
The bar is open at times during the evening and during the interval homemade cakes with tea and coffee are served. A raffle is also part of the celebration with some outstanding prizes ready for winners to collect. The event is open to those living at the Home, Stock’s Hall Staff, friends and family and the general public.
Karen Webster, Housekeeper of Stocks Hall Burscough Home said “Burscough Bingo Events are very special. We are, as ever, very thankful to all the local community and businesses who support us with their generous donations of prizes to help make this event as successful as it is. Without their help it would not be possible. We hope everyone that joined us, had a wonderful evening.”
The event raised over £1200 which will go towards the continuation of inspirational activity for the people living at Stocks Hall Burscough Home.
The next Burscough Bingo event is planned for around Easter time, please join the celebrations if you can.
