Andrew Smith House is a purpose built home with 60 single rooms, 33 of which en-suite.
Located in Marsden Hall Road North, just off junction 13 of the M65, the home is ideally accessible. All amenities are within walking distance and the home is on a bus route.
The emphasis throughout is on homeliness and informality, ensuring residents feel happy, secure and at home.
All the rooms are spacious and comfortable, but also offer a homely and intimate atmosphere. The decor and furnishings reflect this feel throughout.
Services & facilities
Our Nursing Home has 60 beds and caters for general nursing and medical needs for older adults, including end of life care. We also cater for older adults living with a form of dementia, and have provision for eight younger people with a physical disability, for those aged 18-65 years.
Superior nursing and residential care is provided at all levels, 24 hours a day, with ongoing staff training to maintain a service of excellence.
The Home also caters for respite, whether for one night’s rest or more.
A wide variety of activities are offered in the Home and outside, with the use of our minibus. The Home has also recently benefitted from the completion of a therapy room, in which people can relax and take part in activities.
The 60 single rooms, 33 of which provide en-suite facilities, are all above average size and are light and airy. All rooms have Nurse Call and TV points. There are five lounge areas, as well as large dining/entertainment area which overlook the landscaped gardens. There is also a patio and roof terrace. WiFi is available within the Hope upon request.
All fees include: room, meals, laundry and cleaning services, snacks, beverages.
