Thank you for everything you did for D, especially in the last 2 weeks of his life. I remember when you first came into Whiston Hospital, saw D who was sleeping, and said 'he needs a lot of TLC'.
Well that’s what he received at Stocks and from you particularly in those final days.... I’m so grateful D was able to spend his last months here... not only did you look after D, but you looked after me too when I most needed - keeping me fed, providing a quiet room and offering support. All the staff were wonderful, day and night. Thank you for everything.
...our gratitude for all the love and care that you have given to mum over the past 30 months. You make such a difference to peoples lives. Every little thing you do each day - you are, in our eyes, hero’s! Thank you is not enough.

...Each one of you are very special people, and were like a family to my Dad.
Just a note to say many thanks to all the people who were involved in making my mother’s 100th birthday so special and for the kindness extended to all the family.
Thank you so much! We are all so grateful. Your kindness will not be forgotten. Thank you all so much for everything you’ve done.
...you have such a wonderfully dedicated and sincere group of staff at Stocks Hall. I have been so impressed by every one of them both in person and on the telephone since my father took up residence at Stocks Hall.
Words cannot express my thanks to you all for the loving care and devotion you gave to M. during her stay with you.
Thank you so much for the kind and caring way in which you looked after Dad.
Knowing my mum was so well looked after during these last five years has been a tremendous comfort to me ....... your staff have shown me such kindness and respect and all played their part in my mum’s care.
My son DP was moved into Stocks Hall St Helens back in March 2011 after having a stroke and major brain surgery. After 2 days his progress was remarkable and he is still making progress. This is all down to his carers and members of staff that look after him.
The care is of the highest standard I have ever seen. Stocks Hall is not a Care Home, it is a HOME for my son and all the other people that live here. To me they are one big family, and receive all the love and care they will ever need in their recovery.
All the staff I have met and spoke to in Stocks Hall are the best carers I have come across. The patience and caring I have seen while visiting my son is remarkable.
Just want to say thank you to the staff at Stocks Hall St Helens who looked after my uncle Tony for the last two years of his life, their care and compassion was second to none, the family will be forever grateful for what you all did to help make Tony comfortable, especially in the last few days of his life, thank you.
I think you can be proud of what you have at Stocks Skem and I hope the inspection went well. I visited several establishments - some were what I would expect a nursing home to be like, some were like Hotels but Stocks felt like home.
I am so grateful for the amazing, talented, professional & caring people in our world. Last Sunday I represented my family & attended the most touching & beautiful Memorial service for residents at Stocks Hall Care Home Ormskirk. It was to remember residents who have left this planet. My Mum KD R.I.P. lived there for her last few months & she died 8 December last year. Each person was honoured respectfully with heartfelt stories about them & their lives, poems were read, candles lit for all. I was given a rose & this poem:-
When my Mum was ill & in her last few months we focused on what we wanted for her.
‘May she feel safe
May she feel at ease
May she feel peaceful
May she have all the comforts & desires she wishes for....’
I always felt her Carehome was like a 'little taste if heaven'. Bless you all you are so appreciated. Namaste.
Hi - I am emailing to say how fantastic all the carers are who came to look after Diane in Tyldesley. I know my brother Peter has already rang to tell you, so on behalf of all the family a massive thanks for the work you all did. Every single carer who came to see Diane did their utmost to help and we cannot praise them all enough, so thank you everyone. XXXX
My mum was in Stocks Hall Burscough for five months. The care and attention mum received in that time was the best!!!! Lovely staff and lovely place. Thank you so very much for all you did.
All those happy, smiling faces - lovely
The best Home I have seen and worked in. Good care, good food and great environment!

The care, dignity & respect shown not only to my husband but all our family & frinds who come in contact wth all the staff was excellent!
Is there a better place, a better bunch of people to entrust the care of your loved ones to, I doubt it
The care for the residents is excellent. All staff are brilliant. The laundry staff do an excellent job and know their clients, the kitchen staff make excellent meals for the residents and family events. I feel welcome when I visit.
Couldn’t of wished for a better place for my grandson to spend his last months on earth. God bless you all.
We’ve spent a lot of time and shared a lot of memories at Stocks Hall. The staff and residents always make you feel welcome and always put 100% in everything they do
Truly outstanding people who cared for the greatest man I’ve known with the love and compassion some would think only family are capable of
This is more than a care home – it’s a real home full of loving care and support, staffed by the most amazing people. We could not manage without you.
On behalf of the family I want to thank all the staff at Andrew Smith House, for the care and attention you gave to 'MP' during her time with you. Although she was not with you very long, you all gave her wonderful care and supported us throughout a very difficult time. As a dedicated nurse herself with a career spanning over sixty years, I know she would have been proud of the care she received in these last few weeks.
Your staff showed unfailing kindness, total professionalism and a generosity of spirit seldom encountered in many establishments. We cannot thank you enough for all you did for 'M'.
We wish your staff could give 'masterclasses' in care for the elderly, to those who work in hospitals who clearly have so much to learn. Thank you to everyone for seeing the person behind the confusion, for allaying their fear and restoring their dignity.
With grateful thanks and all good wishes.
You and all the staff we met that day could not have done more to give us confidence that Dad was in the right place.... the Team who had surrendered their own Christmas Day to help at Stocks Hall had helped Dad get ready, and showed so much care for him.
I can only offer our thanks and admiration for the way the whole Team there go about a difficult, tiring and extremely important job, and we're happy that Dad is where he is.
