Stocks Hall Covid-19 Update: February 2024
Persons living in Care Homes are typically more vulnerable to severe consequences & illnesses as a result of COVID 19 and other infections.
Although visitors are no longer required to test prior to visiting, we do please ask that you DO NOT visit if you have COVID symptoms or any other infectious illness.
Masks are provided by the Stocks Hall Nursing & Care Group and we would ask that you kindly wear them whilst you are visiting and follow all infection prevention & control measures as instructed by care home staff.
We appreciate all your help in this matter, keeping all those living & working at Stocks Hall safe.
Visiting a Care Home during a Covid & other Infectious outbreak.
During such times, temporary restrictions may be put in place. You will usually be able to spend time with your loved one in their own room, if you are one of their named visitors.
We would encourage you to spend time outdoors, either in the grounds of the Home (weather permitting) or taking a trip out if possible, assuming your loved one does not have an infectious disease and your plans are in line with their Individual Care Plan.
We encourage you to embrace your loved one, obviously if they are free from Covid & any other infections. If they are infectious however, we encourage telephone/video calls, letters, e-mails, cards & photographs.
If visiting during an outbreak, staff may advise you to follow additional infection prevention & control measures. This may include physical distancing & wearing face masks, plus other PPE as instructed.
We hope this information is of help – if you are unclear about any of this guidance, please ask for clarification whilst visiting or log onto the Government Guidelines website.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these measures and thank you for your continued assistance in helping to ensure that our staff and service users all remain safe during the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic. Thank you
